Moving On!

I made it to Prague yesterday. The trip was pretty uneventful. Even the the drive to Dublin wasn't bad. The only thing and went wrong is they thought it had automatic tolls like we have in Massachusetts. Unfortunately they don't. So I'm waiting to hear from the rental company that I went through it toll. Actually I went right through the toll bar as well . That was the only mishap .
Everything went very smoothly in Prague. The limousine driver pick me up and brought me right to my hotel. Actually the hotel turned out to be a beautiful one bedroom apartment . I settled in very quickly and I was out in no time .
Prague is absolutely mobbed with people. I've been here 3 times now and this is absolutely the most crowded I've ever seen it. And it still is timeless. It's just magnificent . I walked around a little bit last night but I have to say I was pretty tired. I was glad to go back to my nice little one bedroom . It really is a great deal.
This morning I got up and it was nice to make breakfast at home. It was nice to have my old serials some raspberries and yoghurt period not that I don't love the Irish breakfast but...
I headed out to see the town hall and the astronomical clock. I got there about 30 seconds too late for the 10 o'clock so I had to go back at 11. I hung out Starbucks, yes the Starbucks here. So at 11 o'clock The 12 Apostles made the rounds, delighting the crowd.
Now I proceeded to do the churches. They are very beautiful and to my surprise they were all Roman Catholic. In each one of them they were selling tickets to a concert period I think I will take in a concert on Saturday night . The town square had so many people there was almost not room for the vendors and the performers. I have to say though there were fewer vendors in performers that have seen in the past.
My next stop was the Jewish area period the oldest synagogue in Prague is there as is the Old Jewish cemetery. It was so crowded I couldn't even walk around so I just decided to leave there and go down to the river.
The river was busy with boats but also the sky started the Cloud in . There were people lining the river and I walked down to the Charles bridge. Again it was very crowded so my first thing tomorrow morning is to go down to the Charles Bridge . On my way back from the bridge I started a small Italian restaurant and had dinner it was called the pasta cafe and the food was only fair. But the people there were pleasant and the windows are open and I could sit and watch people go by on the street .
Well I got back I rest a little bit because my feet were absolutely killing me and I then went out and just walked around King wenceslas Square . It's really fun to watch the people walk around and eat at the cafes.
Everything in Prague is just beautiful. The Architecture is fantastic and it's amazing to see the rows and rows of beautifully designed apartment houses that come from the Victorian age. The smallest alley or the widest Avenue just feature phenomenal Architecture of the city. Also knowing that none of this was destroyed during World War II and it's all original is fantastic.
